Which killstreak's should i use?

Killstreak's should be used to help your team win (obviously).

1. Plan which set you will use depending upon your gameplay, example don't use an AC130 in a search and destroy, don't use 7, 9, 12 killstreak setup if you have trouble getting a 5 killstreak (your wasting your chance)
2. Don't be scared to change killstreak's during a match, Modern Warfare 3 allows you to set killstreak's to a custom class so you can swap them unlike killstreak's in the past. If you have 7+ for your lowest killstreak because you are the play who can get it every match don't be scared that if you die without getting close to it to swap to lower killstreak's, winning a bunch of uav's is more helpful then not winning anything.
3. Don't be selfish, use killstreak's that help both you and your team mates, not saying don't use a predator missile, or don't use a chopper, but don't stress over being the best, its better for your team to have ballistic vest and everyone have a chance at 1 higher killstreak rather then you get greedy and get your chopper that they will shot down.

Q. How do i choose which killstreak class i should use?
A. The standard deathmatch is 6v6, have your lower kill/death ratio people use simple 3,4,5 killstreak on assault, this can lessen the time they spend in the open attacking while they are calling in a care package or using a predator. Have your middle kill/death ratio people using support, those ballistic vest will really help your team as well as some other goodies in that branch. Have your high killstreak's go back to assault, make sure they wisely pick killstreak's, just because they can go 15-0 doesn't mean they will have a 7 killstreak as their lowest, theirs nothing wrong with using a 5 killstreak to boost you to 7 or 9 and use that to boost you higher in the killstreak list. As for the specialist, they are really good for a non deathmatch such as a capture the flag, its much better running into combat with 3 people who have bonus perks helping the flag carrier then some missiles or chopper.

Q. I want to get a high killstreak but i have trouble getting 5 kills without dying, what do i do?
A. You use low killstreak's. This is a team based game (other then free for all), your playing with other real people not the computer (or alone in a free for all). You can screw the computer (or yourself) up and do as you wish but its not right to be greedy when its a team thing. Use low killstreak's that's why they have care package, you will eventually get the high killstreak that you desire and not ruin your teams chances.

Q. I want to use killstreak's from both the assault and support category, can i do that?
A. No, unfortunately you can not, i would personally love to mix and match them but they are not allowed to ensure the game is more balanced. You can however swap killstreak's by making 2 of the same class with different killstreak's and swap at your will.

Q. I keep taking enemy care packages and they keep exploding, how do i know which is the real one and which is the decoy?
A. Look at the location of it as well as if anyone on their team is trying to fight for it, that is the only way to check, you can however avoid the blast. I have found its a good idea to only go for enemy care packages when they are by a wall that you can easily move around, take it while standing up and as soon as you finish sprint behind the wall you only have like 1 second but if it explodes you will not die. (personal experience).
